Update: I added a version that has a steely embedded in the mallet head to give it more mass and a better "thump". The steely gets covered in the plastidip. It is a better design, IMHO. see it in use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BZRRaeMA2c
I am a hand amputee and a guitar player (for 40 years). These things are designed to allow you to play guitar, if you are missing your hand. It should work for either hand but you might need to "mirror" it to fit your need. Also, it is tailored to my forearm/wrist diameter. You might need to scale up/down.
Bagusla™ (bag GOOZ luh) == BAss GUitar SLAp bass prosthetic.
One version has a "thumb" for slap bass. It is designed to use Plastidip to coat the thumb and make it like flesh over bone like a real thumb (see pix).
I added a new version that is optimized and now has what looks like a xylophone mallet in place of an anatomically modeled thumb. This should work BETTER that the thumb shape does for slapping. Also, changed the pronation angle required to slap by shifting the "thumb" orientation on the collar. Lastly, shortened the plectrum a bit.
The other prosthetic is designed to use a nylon guitar pick held in place with a small bolt and lock nut. You put it in the slit and drill a hole through the pick (nylon pick work better/don't snap like regular picks do.)
I have been playing for about 40 years and have refined the design over the years and finally with 3D printing have it NAILED!
I evolved the prosthetic so instead of an anatomical thumb instead it has an idealize thumb for thump that looks like a xylophone mallet. That new idealized thumb works way better and looks less "uncanny valley creepy".
Wanna see it in action?
Check out my youtube videos using the prosthetic pick:

and one of my bands, using an earlier version of the device:https://youtu.be/5B3bw2ifpRY
Good luck and let me know if it is useful.
PS - I remixed the thumb from the iPhone hand 3D model. Thx for that!
