Baby’s Great Shape Puzzle – with “Midi or Mini-Tray”
These are the new "Baby's Great Shape Puzzles" with large shape figures and small trays. The smallest of the two trays requires a printing bed of only 180x180 mm. So, if you call a Prusa Mini your own, you don't have to stand behind your big brother the Prusa i3MK3S. The large shape figures with a height of 36 mm are the same as in the "Baby's First Shape Puzzle", with the Maxi tray, so they are too big to be swallowed by toddlers when they put the pieces in their mouths.
The shapes and the tray are nicely rounded und the added grooves on the bottom of the tray are advantageous for the handgrip and reduces warping on the printer bed.
Attention: When using my printer files, do not shrink the 9 shape-figures under any circumstances. If you want to save material on the tray, simply reduce the Z-height of the tablet in the slicer for example to 75% and print the tray with a thickness of 15 mm.
Enclosed there are stl-files for 2 trays with smaller dimensions but for the same large shape figures with 36 mm height.
The “Tray-Midi” version with dimensions of 192x188x20 mm requires a printing bed of 200x200 mm and can therefore be printed for example on a Wanhao D6.
The smallest version “Tray-Mini” with dimensions of 174x174x20 mm can be processed on a small printing bed with 180x180 mm and thus fits perfectly for printing on the new Original Prusa Mini.
The puzzle pieces should be printed advantageously in PLA or PETG, as these materials are easy to print and produce only a few emissions during printing. I have successfully printed parts with Prusament PLA and Extrudr PETG. Extrudr PETG can be printed at a temperature 25°C lower than Prusament PETG and is therefore also suitable for Far East printers whose hot end temperature is limited to 240°C.

Dies sind die neuen «Baby’s Great Shape Puzzles» mit grossen Formfiguren und kleinen Tabletts. Das kleinste der beiden Tabletts benötigt ein Druckbett von nur 180x180 mm. Wer also einen Prusa Mini sein Eigen nennt, muss hier nicht hinter dem grossen Bruder dem Prusa i3MK3S anstehen. Die grossen Formfiguren mit einer Höhe von 36 mm sind dieselben wie beim «Baby’s First Shape Puzzle», mit dem Maxi-Tablett, somit sind diese zu gross, um von Kleinkindern verschluckt zu werden, wenn sie die Teile in den Mund nehmen.
Die Puzzleteile und das Tablett sind schön abgerundet und die zusätzlichen Nuten auf der Unterseite des Tabletts sind vorteilhaft für den Handgriff und reduzieren das Warping auf dem Druckerbett.
Achtung: Bei Verwendung meiner Drucker-Files die 9 Formfiguren unter keinen Umständen verkleinern. Wenn Sie Material am Tablett sparen wollen, dann einfach die Z-Höhe des Tabletts im Slicer auf z.B. 75% reduzieren und das Tablett mit einer Dicke von 15 mm drucken.
Beiliegend sind stl-Files für 2 Tabletts mit kleineren Abmessungen aber für dieselben grossen Formfiguren mit 36 mm Höhe.
Die «Tray-Midi» Variante mit Abmessungen von 192x188x20 mm benötigt ein Druckbett von 200x200 mm und kann somit z.B. auf einem Wanhao D6 ausgedruckt werden.
Die kleinste Variante «Tray-Mini» mit Abmessungen von 174x174x20 mm kann auf einem kleinen Druckbett mit 180x180 mm verarbeitet werden und passt somit perfekt zum Ausdrucken auf dem neuen Original Prusa Mini.
Die Puzzleteile sollen vorteilhaft in PLA oder PETG gedruckt werden, da diese Werkstoffe einfach zu drucken sind und nur wenige Emissionen während dem Druck erzeugen. Ich habe Teile mit Prusament PLA und auch mit Extrudr PETG erfolgreich ausgedruckt. Extrudr PETG kann mit 25°C tieferer Temperatur als Prusament PETG gedruckt werden und ist somit auch geeignet für Fernost-Drucker, deren Hotendtemperatur auf 240°C begrenzt ist.
