This is an avocado seed grower. First, obtain a seed from a store-bought avocado. Peel the dark brown skin from it, leaving behind a tan-white seed coloring. Wrap the seed in paper towel, dampen, and put in a ziplock bag for 2-3 weeks.
Then place it on the 3D printed stand after filling with water, all the way up so that it touches the bottom of the seed. After first watering, use the removable spout/funnel to aid in watering. There is a through-hole in the surface layer, next to the funnel pour pipe. Water will spill out through this hole, to show that the water level is sufficiently touching the seed.
I'll add pictures once the plant starts growing in this, which will be about a month or two from now (be patient with avocado seeds!).
