This paper-roll-transport-system is built for an installation of the
exhibition-project of Written Images.
A thermal printing-device will receive short text messages via mobile
phone and the text will be interpreted into simple 8-bit pictures.
therefore the continouos paper-roll will be streamlined and transported
step-by-step in the right length the images are printed. To manage the
right length and getting the streamline in correct adjustment the
transport-rolls are extended with a pendulum-roll, which manages the
correct adjustment. To get the paper pulled tight, the motor gets
started everytime the paper-roll is loose.
