This is a 6th century repeating crossbow designed for fighting both in range and melee. In order to fire at range between 75 to 150 meter, you should open the crossbow's limbs and use a solid thin rope to tighten limbs' hole in order to secure the limbs, then use other ropes to activate the crossbow mechanism for firing. In addition, you must use the iron U-shape lock in order to secure the limbs further to avoid ineffective firing and limb breakage. With high rate of fire via pump-action method, the enemies would be shot multiple times within 10 seconds. In order to avoid the AutoCrossbow being malfunction, It was added with an iron stick bended call (The Charger) in order to convensate the crossbow's forearm by pulling the crossbow sling backward by it. If they get too close, you must hurrily insert your iron short sword into the crossbow then used larger rope to secure it (closing the limbs is necessary if you are not detected). This 100 cm length weapon (combining with crossbow and short sword) can be act as a short spear so that use can pierce throught the enemy and sightly effective aganist cavalry charge.
