ATX Power Supply for STEM Version 1
I have designed this power supply so that students can use an easy-to-use and secure power supply. A 5V and 12V fixed voltage is sufficient for many applications in the classroom, plus a variable voltage between about 1V and 12V. For further experiments (and for the teacher!) there is also the possibility to use additional 3.3V and -12Volt.
It was important to me to develop a housing that completely encloses the ATX power supply. The printing of this components naturally requires a little more time.
I added a photo of the wiring. The step-down converter I packed in shrink tubing to avoid electrical contacts.
Important: I do not guarantee the correctness of these circuits. Anyone working with electrical equipment should know what he is doing. If in doubt, please ask a specialist.
Update: 30.11.2019: I have corrected a little inaccuracy in the front panel. Further front panels (with USB connection, with connection for 3.3V) will follow.
Please print the front plate with the face down!
