Attack on EPD Mining Base

Last night the EPD mining base on Trinos was attacked by a strange insectoid beast. Armed with two lazer swords, this creature entered between the sandbag barriers, slicing open everyone that got in its way. It then began a half-hour long rampage through the facility, destroying equipment and damaging every ship it ran across. Resistance by the EPD troops proved strangely useless, as their weapons bounced harmlessly off this creature's thick armored exoskeleton. When the sun rose, thirteen troopers and five technitions were found dead, and two more were missing. Near the sandbag barriers, the troops found a message scrawled into the ground. THIS PLANET IS MINE, NOW SO ARE YOU.
