In October 1960, at the London Motor Show, a car was presented with an elegant body, created in the Zagato workshop from Milan, based on a lighter version of the DB4 GT. The car's exterior was painted by 23-year-old Ercole Spada, who only joined Zagato in February 1960 as an apprentice. The model was equipped with forced up to 314 hp. six-cylinder engine. The chassis of the car was assembled in Newport Pagnell, then sent by steamer to Italy. There it was body-mounted and shipped back to England for final assembly and finishing (perhaps five examples were entirely made in Italy).
