Fletching Jig for 3 vane arrows. I need a true helical jig and wanted it to be small enough to pack away. Uploading full Fusion 360 file for you to play with parameters (in images). I have added files for 4" vanes, 0.2875" shaft, 4 deg helical twist.
Print:
1x Cap
1x Base
3x Arm
The arrow and vanes in the model are simply for visualization. You don't need to print them, but go for it if you want to try vanes that will immediately explode if you put them on an arrow
Please do not sell the files, I give them away to help people, don't perpetuate bad behavior.
The vanes are modeled and then used to subtract material away from the arms, so it is critical that you get the vane parameters correct.
NOTE: Broken Joints
If you're playing with parameters and the joints break (they are important for vane modeling above), just left click joint, "Edit Joint", and click "Okay" without changing anything. Fusion360 changes the way faces are named on some reconstructions and the joints will automatically relink with a manual re-edit.
