The Arial font retopologized for use in animation. The characters have been left as entire connected meshes for simplicity of understanding. They can be separated in edit mode (TAB) by selecting just the vertices of the letter you require and seperating by selection (P).Each character is quite heavy of geometry and I have not removed the poles at corners. This can easily be done by merging the three vertices connected to each pole if your animation requires it (this is a little more advanced and for general use you will not need to do this!!)Adding loops to change the bevel of text is also a relatively easy task if you know a bit of mesh modelling. This is a very general purpose retopology. If anyone has any very specific requirements let me know and if I have time I can provide it for you.The usefull meshes are on layer 1.The camera is on layer 9Some examples of simple usage are on layer 10.It has not been UV unwrapped but that should be a relatively simple job.(probably take 2 or 3 days and would be a good exercise in production techniques if you fancy trying it!).tried to make it as simple as I could! hope it makes sense.Cheers.Ian.https://vimeo.com/75095798Latest Change on 2013/09/21, 16:48:13description
