I use a blue base to put the protoboard and the Arduino or RaspberryPi for prototyping. Every component has its place and it's very convenient to work with.
Following my previous designs (a Raspberri Pi to ESP8266 adapter https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3910625 and an adapter to hold a LCD in the same place https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4018728 ), I create a new adapter to use the Arduino/Arduino Mega place to hold an ESP8266.
Once created, I realised that the screw holes are too tigh. I fixed it with a scredriver, passing it through the holes.
The original files of the design are attached, in FreeCAD format. Feel free to modify it.
