The Hellbender is a Heavy Attack Repulsor Craft that 1st entered service in 2065. The primary lifting power comes from 2ea Gravitron GR ReAct 2.8gz Weak-Force Repulsor Drives. Primary forward thrust is from 2ea Rolls Royce LW6xx4 High Efficancy H2 Turbines. Structure is a Organic Carbon / Ceramic compound with Carbon Titanium Armor surrounding all critical components. Crew consists of a Pilot and a Gunner in 2ea Full Emersion Cybernetic Interface Enclosures (FECIEs, “FeeKees”). All views come through a network of Multi-Spectral, Directional Receivers (MSDRs). When properly trained and adjusted, this provides the pilot and gunner an environment with a full sphere of spatial awareness. Views provided are a seamless amalgam of Visual and Infrared Spectrums with Radar (and, yes, thanks “Ghost in the Shell”. Armament consists of: 2ea 20mm Rapid Fire Cannons 1ea 40mm Recoilless Cannon 5ea 9mm Anti-Personnel, Point Defense guns (capable of intercepting incoming missiles) 12ea “Brimstone” Autonomous Missiles 2ea SCAAT (Scalable Compression Atmospheric/Auditory Transmitter), can be adjusted to cause discomfort in individuals up to demolition of structures. Top Speed is 450mph. Range is 1500 miles while fully loaded.
