This part is replacing the original hotend mount on the effector for the Anycubic Kossel.
The original mount is weighing about 56g for the mount and cleat alone, so a good way to reduce the moving mass a lot.
This is work in progress, as the hotend is mounted with the lower fins in the effector, I fear some issues with proper cooling of these. Further, the heating block is larger than the Anycubic version, so you have to place the longer part facing to you. The auto leveing sensor then no longer works in front, as the space is simply not available. As I said, work in progress
The presented mount is ready for a 30mm fan for the hotend, which should fit just with a click. On the back, you will find a inlet for a radial fan.
I did not design a mount for the fan, to reduce printing time of the prototypes, but it will happen any time soon.
The top is fitting the E3D mount , I am just designing a counter part to screw. The holes are all 3mm, so please use a screw to cut the thread, no nuts needed.
Installation
insert the E3D v6 into the effector from underneath, longer part of the heat block facing you
press the top part into the mounting on the hotend
move up and place the cage, tighten the left screws from below the effector
now install the for fan for the hotend, by gently clipping in with the flexible right side of the cage
insert the remaining screws and tighten them all
done :-)
