The "Dina-lope"
Ever since I saw TheB4RM4N's D-Rex (Deerannosaurus Rex) I knew I had to have one hanging over my mantle.
I remixed it to add flesh using framedworld's Banjo Dinosaur Head, and remixed the antlers to make them even gnarlier.
Printed in 5 parts (2 antlers, head, mounting plate of my own design, and 2 additional small antler pieces that were glued on.
0.35mm layer height, 24+ hours of print time. 3% infill. eSUN PLA+.
Note that none of this is my own design, except for the mounting plate. I can only take credit for the awesome paint job. I would like to take this opportunity to point out that A) modern science suggests that dinosaurs were much more colorful, like birds, than previously though. and B) T-Rex did not have antlers either. This is a fantasy creation for my living room, not a historically accurate museum piece.
Painted with acrylics and coated with an entire can of high gloss clearcoat.
