The CW BUG was used be amateur radio and telegraph operators to send morse code messagea. It uses a spring mechinism to send the dashes by simply holding the paddle lever to the right. The operator had to make each individule dash. The bug had it own unique slur or accent. It had unmistakable patterns. I have used the BUG and it is a lot of fun.
