Anti-Intruder Device

Many schools all across America and even the world have begun to implement armed intruder drills into their monthly safety drills. I decided I wanted to help aid teachers with their routine. I have designed a safety A.I.D. This stands for Anti-Intruder Device. This doorstop digs into the ground the more pressure is put on the door. I came up with this idea shortly after the shooting in Sante Fe, Texas and when there was a shooting threat at my own high school. I realized that there was something I could do to help make classrooms safer. This doorstop can be quickly 3d printed on the side opposite of the holes for ¼” diameter magnets. I used PETG filament but it can be used with any filament. Any infill density above 40% should be more than enough. The 3d printed model is currently being implemented at my local Elementary school in my mother’s classroom and many other teachers have requested their own.
