Yet another spool holder for a generic 1515/2020 frame. Uploading in case someone else finds this useful.
There are 2 centre "Main Axles", 50 and 57 mm, these fit most generic filament spool sizes, but they're easy to design if the sizes don't fit.
The axles with the Minigun tag is the centre axel with some holes to save filament when printing. I called it a minigun because it looked like the barrel of a minigun.
The side panels are customizable. I added a few designs of my own, based off of a couple of disc-shaped objects. (Vehicle brake disc, wheel, Old-School Open-Reel magnetic tape)
Since my printer has a 100x100 bed, the discs have a 90mm diameter.(Which was fine to hold the roll in.) I also added a bigger one for extra customization.
The mount slides into a piece of 2020 aluminum extrusion.
Parts needed:
1x 2020 aluminum extrusion (I used 120mm, length depends on your printer and/ or application)
2x 608 bearing
1x 120mm (Or longer) M8 bolt
2x (1~2 extra, depending on what bolt you use, and wether you connect the 2020 mounting piece on both sides)
M8 washers, etc.
4~12x 5mm M3 bolts (2~6 on each side. Honestly, 2 on each side works well enough, but 6 on each side looks cool.)
4x M3 or M4 nuts and bolts (For attaching the mount to the frame. M3 for 1515, M4 for 2020)
4~12x M3 threaded inserts
