This is a motor-driven controllable slider for DSLR, action cams and other cameras with similar dimensions and weight. All electronic parts kit( and Arduino program) is the same as this one - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1622033
-Update 09/13/18: Added two more versions of motor and rods mounting with stand for end-switches. Also added new case model.
Now you can find step-by-step guide for the assembly of this slider on this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlTO69apYLA&t=1s
Video is in russian, but you still can understand the process =)
There are two options for motor and rods mounting - with 10mm (ver1) and 30-35mm (ver2) deep holes. I chose the first option cause I have short rods (470mm) and I wanted carriage travel to be as much as it can be. If you have long rods or you want to make the whole assembly more rigid then you can choose second option.
Besides the printed components you will need the following items:
pcb board (50x70 mm)
arduino nano with mini usb
digital encoder (ky-040)
7-segment display (TM1637 LED display)
stepper driver board (A3967 EasyDriver Stepper Motor Driver)
on/off switch (optional)
2 end-switches
Nema 17 Stepper Motor
30x30mm Fan (12V)
2х 8mm Steel Rods
4х linear bearings lm8uu (or 4 printed bushings)
2х radial bearings 605 zz (5x14x5)
2x aluminium pulley wheels 2GT
belt 2GT-6 (about 2m length)
1x 5х30mm steel shaft
2х screws м3х16
1х screw м3х25
3х nut м3
4х screw м3х8
1х nut м4 and screw М4х25
and several self-tapping screws м2 or м3 for mounting end switches and box cover.
