This mount was made to hold the QuadFusion print head on the Anet A8 Plus printer. There are currently two versions of this mount. A third one will be coming soon. The details for the mount are below. (Not sure why some pictures are upside down)
Mount Versions:
Basic Mount - No LEDs
Mount With 2 LEDs - Will hold 2 5mm LEDs
Mount with Inductive Sensor - Coming Soon...
Hardware Used:
4 - M4-0.70 Nylon Lock Nuts (Used these so they don't come loose during a print.)
2 - M3-0.50 Nylon Lock Nuts (Used these so they don't come loose during a print.)
2 - M3-0.50x15mm Countersunk Style Screws (Used to hold print head to mount)
4 - M4-0.70x35mm Pan Head Screws (These hold the rear mount to the front mount)
To attach this mount to your printer you can use the original screws (12 screws)
Install Instructions:
Gently tap the 6 required nuts into the mount. They will be tight but they will fit when tapped in. (Your print quality could cause issues) (See picture to see nuts tapped into mount)
Install the top 8 screws that hold this mount to the printer.
Slide the QuadFusion print head on the new mount.
Install the 2 screws needed to hold the print head to the mount. Make sure they are flush with the back side of the mount.
Slide the rear attachment into place and insert one screw at a time. Make sure all 4 screws are in before tightening. (Be careful not to push the lock nuts out of the mount)
LED install Instructions:
The LEDs I used can be found here. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4025132

These are 5mm LEDs. Slide both LEDs into place in the LED tube. (I left the holes a little small so you can use a drill bit to adjust the LED height to your liking.) Once you get them at the height you like fill the tube opening with hot glue. The tube was left open so you can easily clean it out or remove the glue if an LED goes out.

The rest of the instructions for the LED setup i used is here. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4025132
