it`s xmas - discount! modelled with blender 2.79 tested with 2.80/2.93 an asset pack that the gods of ancient times would surely approve of, they certainly liked stunning architecture and they`re worshipers were only to happy to construct some of the worlds greatest buildings ........back to the modern day, here is a bundle of various assets to add to your project that i have already built for you, some of those stones were mighty heavy! each object has a high level of detail, while keeping the polycount as low as possible using the high to low poly baking method, giving a realistic aged look. the pack contains low-poly highly detailed objects as follows: 2 arched column structures (2 styles of ageing) 1 stone wall with arches 2 boundary columns (2 styles of ageing) 3 bricked walls (1 straight, 2 curved) 7 railed/spindled stone walls (2 straight, 4 curved, 1 right angled) 4 various styles of house 2 obelisks (2 styles of ageing) 3 large ruined style stone walls 2 wells (2 styles of ageing) 1 fountain 1 large main temple of worship 1 large temple in ruins 1 small temple of worship 14 various styles of column with capitals ( 2 styles of ageing each ) 5 tree types (images as plane) (see documentation regarding eevee) easily create a detailed scene by simply appending these models into your own project the hdri or ground planes used for the renders are not included all textures are packed into the .blend file for the whole package combined: f: 133,813 v: 137,041 please note if you wish to use blenders render engine: you may need to go into the render properties tab - performance - please take a look at the video if you wish to see more: if you do decide to purchase this package i wish to thank you in advance (unzipped .7z file) any queries please do get in touch thank you for your interest & support! : how to import these models into blender/ your blender scene: unzip "ancient_assets_pack.7z" 7zip, if you don`t have it can be downloaded here : http://www.7-zip.org/download.html ....its free : 1. open blender 2. go to file........find and open `ancient_assets_pack.blend` : 1. select: append 2. go to your ancient_assets_pack folder location 3. open: ancient_assets_pack.blend 4. select objects from the drop down menu 5. select the object (or objects) which you wish to add to your scene 6. select append from library blender version 2.79 and cycles render engine used to create the models tested in 2.80/2.93 substance painter 2 used to texture the objects at 2k resolution all textures/images and associated files are included/packed within the blender file the scene does not include the hdri or ground planes used for the renders all objects are named accordingly within the outliner scale: 1.000 approximate real world scale applied (although you can of course scale as you please) all modifiers applied 2.79 cycles render engine used for all images shown tested in 2.80 eevee render engine - see notes: you may need to go into the render properties tab - performance - everything works fine in 2.80 with eevee with the exception of the trees which are `images as planes`.... therefore contain a transparent background. if you use eevee you will need to set the blend mode to in the tab for the trees and then the shadow mode to if you want to see the correct shadows ( see images) all of the objects can of course be duplicated as many times as you like using shift-d......so therefore you can quickly and easily build up a very detailed scene (unzipped .7z file) hope you enjoy this pack as much as i did creating it :) please message me if you have any questions and i will do my upmost to help thank you again for your interest! : around 480bc greece entered a golden age which lasted for 200 years. the people built fantastic temples, made scientific discoveries, wrote plays and founded the first proper democracy. historians call this classical greece. the final period of greek history is known as the hellenistic period. this lasted from 323bc to 30bc, when the romans took control of greece. the romans didn't destroy greek life, though. they respected the greeks and copied many things about their culture, including their buildings, beliefs and clothes.
