Brackets for mounting limit switches onto the AM8 aluminium printer frame.
The limit switches are mounted onto the brackets by self tapping screws. The brackets for Y and Z axes secure onto the 2020 slots using T nuts, the X axis is mounted onto the underneath of the X axis motor mount using the two M2 tapped holes.
Y axis bracket features slotted holes to allow tweaking the vertical alignment of the switch. The X bracket extends the reach of the limit switch (effectively making X axis slightly narrower) in order to ensure the extruder fan doesn't foul on the motor mount.
Mount the Z axis limit switch using the slot of the 2040 extrusion, it is possible to adjust the position of the bracket, thus adjust the position of the end of the axis movement.
You can download the STL files and print with your choice of tools, or grab both openscad files and edit as needed.
