BACI PERUGINA Livery. On April 7, 1997, Alitalia Boeing 747-243 I-DEMF was presented in Rome Fiumicino in the technical area and it wore a special Baci Perugina livery in honor of the 90th anniversary of the famous Italian chocolate confectionery company Perugina based in Perugia, that was founded in 1907. The next day the plane was placed en route on the Rome Fiumicino - New York JFK, AZ610. Then it operated on all routes served by the B747, until September 1999. BULGARI Livery. On 25 April 1998 Boeing 747-243B I-DEMS in the Bulgari Aluminum colors was released from one of the hangars in the Alitalia technical area, livery maintained until January 2000. An other great italian brand was combined on a B747 at the Baci Perugina, released just over a year earlier.This new elegant livery allowed to show the jewellery brand worldwide, reaching many international destinations. All with the aim of conveying and promoting this other excellence of Made in Italy.
