Scraper for collecting algae samples from flat sided aquariums and culture vessels. Useful for collecting encrusted flora/fauna for examination under a microscope. Slide the scraper vertically up the tank side with firm pressure (scoop section downmost), scrapings collect in scoop and can be rinsed out for examination.
