Replacement finger thing for the Giulia glove box latch.
These cars have an awful design for the glove box latch. They clip this plastic part on to actuate the latch instead of just casting a little metal finger on the lock cylinder for some reason.
Buddy picked up a Quadrifoglio and made the mistake of trying to put the owners manual in the glove box. Well, it don't fit, and here we are.
If you ran into the same, it is an easy fix.
Open the latch and you will see 2 of the tabs that hold it on. If you look closely, you can see the 3rd hiding on the other side of the lock cylinder. I'd poke at the 3rd one if you can, pops the latch right out.
Now you should see the finger that opens it, just slide it sideways and it will open.
If you pulled the lever so far that it wont go back in, you will need to push the hinge pin out to get it back where it needs to be. It's easy and slides right out.
If you look at the spring on it, it should be down on the side of the lock cylinder. If it is caught on the end near where this stl clips on, it will give it a sort of detent action in the closed and open positions. Doesn't really seem like a problem either way.
