I tried a bunch of arduino projects to get Alexa to talk to a stepper motor that controlled my drapes. It was problematic, and I suck at programming anything newer then a 1980's VCR...
I also couldnt Justify $300 for a rail system either, and I am probably gonna need 5 of them for the house, so I just bought a $50 motor and some GT2 belt and some idler pulleys.
