Air condition with heat recuperation
Computer fan powered air conditioning with heat recuperation.
Initial conditions:
Hole through wall with diameter minimal 96mm (fits into 100mm pipe).
WARNING: The hole must be slightly downhill out because of watter condensation.
Except of 3D-printed parts you will need :
2x 120mm computer fan (as quiet as possible, I have good experience with 'Be Quiet' brand).
Power supply 7..12V DC (7V for maximum quiet, 12V maximum power).
8x some screw or glue to fix fans.
Superglue.
Sandpaper.
Optionaly aluminium ribs (see below).
Internal part:
int_splitter.stlint_splitter_bend45.stlfan_connect.stl (2x)connection_ring.stl
External part:
ext_splitter.stlext_pipe.stl
Exchanger part:
You will need as many parts as thick your wall is.
For example if wall is 50cm thick you will need at least 4 parts (2x 150 + 2x 100mm)
Chose fully printed or aluminium version.
exchanger with plastic ribs (fully printed, low efficiency)
exchanger_100.stlexchanger_150.stl
exchanger with aluminium ribs
You will need 0.8mm thick aluminium rectangles 45x100mm or 45x150mm (13 pcs for each part).
exchanger2_100.stlexchanger2_150.stl
optional cover
cover_top.stlcover_bottom.stl
NOTES:
Pay attention to fan direction (upper should soak up, lower should blow to room).
Check exchanger facing sides to have minimum gaps between each part, usualy some sanding needed.
It is possible to combine exchangers with plastic and aluminium ribs.
