Tired of using the nasty Keurig machine at work but still have an abundance of K-cups?
Like using your Aeropress for making coffee but sick of cleaning up the mess?
Maybe this is what you've been thinking about doing, but were too afraid to ask for.
I'm not sure if this is even going to work, since I'm going to try to seal it up with food-grade polyurethane before I use it (takes about a month for it to fully cure...).
I know, I know... Aeropress shouldn't be used in the same sentence as Keurig, but I am cheap and like coffee without bits and pieces floating in it.
I'm also wondering if this will work good for an inverted cold brew cup of coffee.
I created a "washer" as well first, thinking the kcup might not fit too well and let water slip by, but after creating the adaptor and trying to put a kcup in, it doesn't seem like it will leak (very snug, the pictures above don't have the washer installed).
The adapter also fits pretty well in the Aeropress (can't tighten it fully, but I think thats fine).
Obviously, you'll need to cut the top foil off and puncture the bottom of the kcup, but I think there are thingies on here to help with that too...
