This Thing is called Advanced Scuba Reel. I made this because I could´t find the perfect reel in scuba accessories. I would like to have one with brake and lock.
I already designed the break and tested it. The break works pretty well.
Later I will make a additonal direction lock to prevent turning unintended.
Later I will add an instruction to asseble this thing.
Latest and last update: I added three .stp files to play with the tolerances.
Update 5 (20180723) Final Update: I will close this engineering. This Advanced Scuba Reel is working now. The break works pretty well. Also the 0.5 gaps are good to print. I decided to make a new evolution of this reel. This is going to be the next project. Next versions will have a mecanism to lock the reels turning in one direction. I will do that with a spring loaded latch.
Update 4 (20180717) I added the handle with axis, the other side of the axis and the two parts for the pressure plate. To connect the pressure plate to the system you will need to add a metric M6 bolt. This bolt is going into the other part wich is called reel_gewindemutter. You can see the parts in the second picture. In the picture is everything from the reel exept the M6 bolt.
Update 3 (20180717) I added the knob and the cylinder to the files. The knob will be connected via glue and after drying you can connect the cylinder to the knob.
Update 2 (20180716) I added the reel. It is going to be connected with some epoxy glue. There are two versions one with holes to connect the string. You will need to print the reel sideplate two times.

I will add the .stl files later. I just made the first prints and had to improve the fits.
