The Wixgear magnetic phone holder works great for the first year. After a year the plastic decomposes and breaks where it attaches to the car's vent. This adjustable vent gripper replaces that part.
The ball joint diameter, vent depth, vent slat width (how thick vent slats are) and space between slats are all configurable so you can measure those distances with a set of calipers and get a great fit the first try.
Mine fits tight in my 370z vents and does not move. The ball joint is just the right size and tightens down well for the correct viewing angle.
