I remixed this from flurins excellent designhttp://www.thingiverse.com/thing:106844
UPDATE
I added a new version for a 8 mm LED at the request of another member.
If you print the 8 mm version, please message me and let me know if it fits. I have not tried to print it.
I needed a nice bright light for my 3d printer, so I designed a couple different adjustable brackets that snap into any aluminum extrusions. I designed 2 different bracket mounts, one to shine down on the build plate and the other that is mounted right on the build plate.
I designed these brackets using These 5050 led strips. Cool White. 10mm wide.http://www.ebay.ca/itm/232052024568?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
You can mix and match the mounts in a variety of different combinations. If you need a specific configuration, You can message me and I will try to help you out.
I built a large 3D printer (320 mm x 320 mm) so the ones for my printer a quite long, but I have also included files for three different lengths of each bracket so pick the one you need or you can adjust the length in your slicer.
I added a couple of toggle switches to turn the led lights on and off and I made a case to house the switches. If you are interested in printing the case you can message me and I will upload the files.
