This is my entry for the Assistive Technology Challenge.
Millions of people are dealing with a verity of issues with their hands from arthritis, injury, or other illness. Such issues can make their silverware impossible to use.
These adaptive handles are designed to help those with dexterity issues use their ordinary household silverware without having to buy expensive sets from a commercial company. These handles will work for anyone with weak grip, no grip (because it slips between your fingers) or thumb amputees.
With a couple rubber bands, you can attach your silverware to the base of this handle. This will let you use your silverware without a strong grip or thumb.
These were designed by Stan Baldwin & Ty Lendit for #AssistiveTech the Assistive Technology Challenge.
