Actuator Mounts
The idea here is to place an off-the-shelf actuator into its corresponding adapter.
Then they can be attached onto our extrusion using our joining plates and angles.http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:213749http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:213776http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:213750
The stepper motor mount will accomodate NEMA 11, NEMA 14, and NEMA 17 Stepper Motors.
The geared DC motor mount will accomodate micro metal motors available on Pololu.com.http://www.pololu.com/category/60/micro-metal-gearmotors
They are available in a wide range of combinations of RPM and output torque.
We have mounts to accomodate both mini and regular hobby servo motors.http://www.pololu.com/product/693http://www.pololu.com/product/2143
If you are interested in powering hinge joints or creating a crank shaft, check outhttp://www.thingiverse.com/thing:213764http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:214807
NOTES:
We are planning to get many of these parts molded so "makers" can buy em cheap and use for their projects. We need your feedback --
What other parts would you like added to the library?
What colors should different parts be molded in?
What would you build with it?
Would you like any parts modified?
We welcome other comments and suggestions
