Brackets for a 3D printer enclosure. Bottom bracket slots are intended for 3mm sheets of acrylic - let me know if you need me to add brackets for different widths. I'm going to build my enclosure with 3mm acrylic and I'll upload photos once it's done. There's a vent & filament piece for mounting in a 30mm hole in the top of the enclosure. Top brackets will be glued onto the acrylic to strengthen the enclosure. I'll use hinges already on thingiverse for the door opening at the front.
Included DXF files for laser cutting the acrylic with included holes and door. These DXF files will make a 600x600x600 enclosure.
To complete the project you'll need the following:
5 sheets of acrylic, preferably laser cut to size. I've provided DWG files for a 600x600x600mm enclosure including cutouts for the vent hole, cable hole and door. For the top sheet, you'll need a 30mm hole cut for venting and filament feeding. For the front sheet, you'll need a hole cut for the door and you'll need to offset the door 80mm from each perimeter (because the brackets are 75mm). Optional: on one piece, cut a 40x40mm hole, offset by 80mm from an edge for cable access (use the cover for cable hole piece for this)
Print:
4x Bottom brackets
4x Top brackets
1x Vent/filament hole
1x Door catch (either 10x2mm magnet or 20x2mm magnet
Optional: 1x cover for cable hole
Glue and fit together. Print 2 hinges (eg https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1396038) and attach door
