ACEPC AK3 fan plinth by Andcop

My AK3 was running hotter than I liked and the internal fan cut in at a higher temperature than I thought was good for the electronics.
I made this plinth so I could install a 40mm fan underneath for added cooling.
I used a 24 volt fan and ran it from the 12 volt supply to the AK3.
I wasn't concerned with height so allowed plenty of space inside both for the fan inlet and spacing the fan outlet and blades away from the AK3 so as not to generate extra noise. I am sure however that the height could be reduced if that was considered important.
I designed it in Fusion 360 and printed on a Reator Pro using PLA. I use Argus Monitor to keep an eye on temperatures, drive condition and in other pc's to control fan speed. It will email me if there are excessive temperatures.
