So this idea was from the Warlayer Printing and Painting Group on Facebook. You cut a piece of 3mm thick clear acrylic to A6 size. You print overhead transparencies of whatever graphics you like, or clear waterslide decals, and adhere them to either side of the acrylic, ensuring that one side is printed mirrored, to give the illusion of a hologram. You then slide the acrylic down into the frame.
There's 1mm of clearance on each side and bottom, and 0.5mm thickness either side of the acrylic to allow for dimensional tolerances of printers and materials. There's a 5mm bleed for the graphic on each edge, so the actual window is smaller than A6. You want to print so there's say 2mm on each edge inside the frame so that you don';t see the edge of the applique.
