The original model is showing the mall in 2006. This showing is 9/8/12. Also the former shelf of its self will show a few of the models I uploaded in the past after Issac. The Beachfront will have models soon. Story: We take off from 2005,After it surviing Katrina. 2006 was its booming year as the last of the malls. 2007-Current is when it went down hill. Stores closed leaving shells of its self Jc Penney-Closed on March 5th 2007. These shops that have left. Nothing replaced them. Issac did damage to the outside. No work has been done recovering. The new parking lot was being built shortly after the model was originally uploaded. And by Jan 5th 2007 it was completed. Now this is what the mall looks like when its OPEN. The city thinks this mall won't have a long life it had. This historical mall is on the city's blighted list. Near the entrance,the studco that covered the wood. A part of it is gone. Issac destoryed outside signage for the mall. This former mall was suppose to get a facelift before Issac. When Issac happened,canceled. The mall like said,Most likley won't have much a life it once had. How are stores staying here if their doing bad? Well they want to support this mall. JCpenney gave up to early. Subway gave out in 2009,and more shops gave out through out the years. (Credit to all who helped)
