Here is my 3rd 3d printer design, first was prusa mendel then mendel max and now Ultimaker. It is based on the drive principles of the Ultimaker where the linear shaft also acts a rotary transmission; it is a very complicated little machine. This one got away from me as I have not done any updates for almost a year so I figured I would release it as is.

Trapezoid lead screws and nuts from misumi
2mm GTS pulleys and belts
Frelon lined linear bearings allow linear and rotary motion
Makergear nozzle
Ultimachine nema 17 steppers
There is a half finished bom included
still to be done
Extruder motor, electronics, plexi side covers, filament spool holder
Modeled in Inventor 2012, Last opened in 2013 (not sure if that converts the file to 2013 or not though)
