Texans Cube
CUBE: In CURA select Experimental - Tree Support
Build Plate Adhesion - Brim (this is to help the Tree Support)
I increased the tree support infill to 30% and was able to avoid using the Brim.
That print came out great, and very little cleaning afterwards.
Texans SEAL: (Option 1, Blue part printing on top of Red part)
Background Blue or Red: 0 to 0.8mm
White: 0.8 to 1.6 mm
Red: 1.6 to 2.4 mm
Blue: 2.4 to 3.2 mm
White: 3.2 to 4.0 mm
As you can see in the pictures, I did a lot of work on Cura to create separate G-codes
for each component and was able to print the red and blue parts in the same level.
And at the end I was able to print the outer ring in white without crashing with the parts previously printed in my Ender 3.
Texans SEAL: (Option 2, Blue part printing at the same level as the Red part)
1 - Background Blue or Red: 0 to 1.0 mm
2 - White: 1.0 to 2.0 mm
3 - Red: 2.0 to 3.0 mm
4 - Blue: 2.0 to 3.0 mm
5 - White: 1.0 to 4.0 mm
If you have an Ender 3 you can use the 5 G-codes to print the Option 2 of the Texans Seal.
Please note that the G-codes 1 thru 4 do not turn off the bed at the end of the print, this is to prevent the print to cool off and loose bed adhesion.
It will take about 30 minutes for the first print, and less than 10 minutes for prints 2, 3 and 4.
And about 20 minutes for print 5.
The other important thing to do is to do a good purge before printing the white parts.
The Red and Blue filament tend to stain the white for a while.
The dimensions are set to press fit the seal into the cube
Be careful with the alignment before pressing it
once in place it will not come out in one piece
Please send a message or post a comment on how was your experience with the print.
Hope you like it.
