Here is one solution I came to regarding getting the 10X probe to display the correct voltage.

Please note in the video I say 10 Ohm resistor. That is a mistake I should have said 10K Ohm resistor. Apologies for any confusion.

Instructions
I used a file to get the indentations necessary to fit the washer over the posts of the BNC connector.
Using the following options:
