This is a model that I created from many white papers on the Satellite - Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (S-DMB) Cost Optimized active Receive Phased Array (CORPA) Digital Beam Forming (DBF) Antenna launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) back in 2007.

One of the papers was titled "Cost-Optimised Active Receive Array Antenna for Mobile Satellite Terminals" by Oliver Lücke, Alberto Pellon, Pau Closas, Juan A. Fernandez-Rubio

This model took me some time as the angles for the various pieces get quite complex. There are three conical tiers of circular arrays. The first conical tier has 18 active antennas, the second conical tier has 14 active antennas, and the inner cone (tier 3) has 8 active antennas. There are 32 external and 8 internal active antennas that make this 40-element phased array very unique geometrically for beam forming.
