Larson Electronicss’ telescoping pneumatic light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 30 feet for effective application. This light boom can be extended to 30 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8.25 feet for closer more intense illumination.

The tower is constructed of high strength, heat treated aluminum tubing for strength and durability. This tower is comprised of five sections, and includes a locking top mounting plate for easy removal of lights or cameras. The mast is elevated using an air compressor, sold separately. An air release valve located at the base of this pneumatic mast allows operators to lower the tower. All wiring in internal, meaning no loose wiring when collapsed. The PLM-30-CCTV-NAC includes an internal wiring harness (3) 1.5sq mm for AC power, (2) 2.5sq mm for DC power, (2) RG6 video cable, and (1) CAT6 cable with 12 inches extending from both ends of the tower.

These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 12 inch square, ½ inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept four mounting bolts (3/4 inch). A 24 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast to allow operators to easily and securely attach their desired fixtures. This light tower weighs 320 lbs, and can easily support and lift 150+ lbs fixtures. When fully extended, this light tower can withstand winds up to 70 mph without guys. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 12 feet long, 4 feet wide, 3 feet tall and weighs 350 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates.

Suggested Applications: Lighting and security camera deployment. We can equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power, including the LEDLB-200X2E, LEDLB-160X2E or LEDLB-80x2E.
