A pigeon-hole message-box (commonly referred to as a pigeon-hole, a cubbyhole (often shortened to "cubby") or simply as a mailbox in some academic or office settings) is an internal mail system commonly used for communication in organisations, workplaces, and educational institutes. Documents and messages are placed in a person's pigeon-hole for them to collect; they can reply by putting a response inside the sender's pigeon-hole.
Cubbies can also be used to store keys, business card, and lunch box.
In large organisations, the mailbox delivers mail to departmental pigeon holes from the postroom.
The purpose of complaints and suggestions forms is to enable students to state the reasons they are unsatisfied with the services provided and also to reflect the initiatives introduced to improve the quality of the service.
A suggestion box is a device for obtaining additional comments, questions, and requests. The internal routing of comments within a university may also provide those without direct contact with students a realistic appraisal of the quality of students care being given. The external routing of responses to received suggestions, such as by posting responses to questions and requests on a physical or virtual bulletin board, may also help to improve a department's image and teachers-students relationships.
