Metal Paper Towel Holder

By looking at the products of Umbra, it is visible that their design is clear and simple. So, when modeling this holder, the aim was to make its design minimalistic.
It consists of a cylindrical bar in the middle, two identical side parts in the shape of stars with four rays that are slightly rounded. The tips of these parts are covered with silicon caps. This way the holder will be more stable. The end of the caps is protruded on one side, so that when the holder is placed upright, the contact with the surface to be with these tips, not the whole surface of the side part.
The holder is designed to be made of metal to give a sense of solidity. Aluminum is a good choice, although iron could be used as well. For the rendered images is used appearance of polished aluminum. But its finishing could also be matte or brushed and different colors could be used too.
