Goodies kreos keychains

Hello everyone, here is my participation!





This is the logo of the Kreos company, Lyonnaise company, which distributes and integrates 3D equipment for the industry: 3D printer, 3D scanner, milling machine, including the latest HP Multijet Fusion solution.





This is a goodies: a keychain, with which I wanted to highlight some of the advantages of 3D printing: integrated assembly, complex shapes, and mass customization. Additive manufacturing obviously offers other advantages from an industrial point of view (impact in the supply chain, shortening of deadlines with respect to traditional processes, acceleration of development phases, integration of functions, etc.).





To return to 3D, the axis of the keychain is mobile. On this one is mounted a geometric structure, enclosing small captive polygons (possibility made possible by 3D printing), the name of the company Kreos is included three times at 120 °.





I transformed two petals into complex structures, another possibility offered by these new means of manufacture.


Finally, there is a text (and logo) on the back of the sphere indicating that the object is manufactured using an HP Multi Jet Fusion printer.





I realized my modeling by respecting the design guidelines related to the printing medium, using Fusion 360 & Meshmixer (complex shapes).


The file has been verified through Meshmixer & Netfabb software.
