Galileo Shuttle BAE 146-300 (1985)

by 3DWarehouse
I-DISD - One of GMAs 80's subsidiaries. In 1985, GMA started a small subsidiary call Galileo Shuttle. It was based in Italy and flew ferries from Italy to England and back. The airline had one BAE 146, nicknamed "Ginger", and being new at the time, they were working it to the bone with flights, yes i said bone, big whoop wanna fight about it? Anyway, after about 3 months of service, this aircraft was lost December 25th, 1985 after it skidded off of the icey runways at heathrow. It broke apart, killing 5 of the 12 people on the smallest flight of the day, a charter flight. The airline has since been defunct. Credit to A330 for the BAE-1463
