OVERALL SHAPE IS BASED ON MY FIRST SUBMISSION, AND IS ALL WITHIN THE ENVELOPE OF THE ORIGINAL GE PART, I HAVE REDUCED THE WEIGHT COMPARED TO MY ORIGINAL BRACKET BY THINNING THE WALLS AND RIBS, BUT ADDING THE LOST RIGIDITY AND STRUCTURE BACK BY ADDING A SERIES OF FINE HEXAGONAL CELLS INTERNALLY CREATING A RIGID HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE, FILLING THE INTERNAL VOID, BELOW THE TOP THIN SKIN.
WEIGHT/VOLUME HAS BEEN REDUCED BY 52% IN THIS MODEL COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL GE PART.
