Octopus inspired bracket design. Modeled in Inventor 2013.

This was the first model I made for the GE challenge. I realized later that it didn't meet the size envelope requirements and removed it from the contest.

Mass = 490.77 grams
Volume = 6.76 cubic inches
76% reduction from original

Special thanks to Igor Lins e Silva for his stress analysis that helped me find the weak points on this design so that I could then make THE KRAKEN.
