Displaying the GE Terrain

You can get the GE Terrain to be displayed in the uploaded model's thumbnail if you rename the "Google Earth Terrain" layer in SketchUp. IMPORTANT NOTE: do not use this method if you want to include the model in the GE 3D Layer. If the terrain is not in the "Google Earth Terrain" layer, it will also be exported to GE and it will cause serious Z-fighting and a resulting rejection. This is also the way however to include "terrain skirts" into the model if some terrain adjustment is needed. Help forum discussion (see link below).
