Designing the 21st Century School - 5: Art Dept. Ground Floor Lobe

The ground floor of a department lobe would be highly flexible space that the department could easily reconfigure as needed. The major concept for this space is that it would support project work in that discipline. It is ground floor space, easily accessible for moving in and out large project components. Each lobe is isolated from gym noise by a glass wall and then within each lobe further sound isolation is possible by erecting temporary walls. I had to resize the building in order to fit the basketball court in. Next step is to work on the commons area on the main floor. #21st_century_school #ground_floor_art_lobe
