I instantly saw this challenge and thought I needed to put fire extinguishers on this thing! so as you can imagine I have not taken myself as seriously.
The overall inspirations I have had for this were multiple YouTube videos of office chairs with fire extinguishers on and pictures of shopping trolleys with rockets and the like attached, I love the idea of making something on wheels go crazy fast or just crazy in general.

It was an easy mod to make to the frame as there is more than enough room behind the seats to house the bracket arrangement and either weld it to the bed or get it moulded in depending on what final material you go for. also had to make a slight modification to the seat to hold the upper brackets but I do not think they will give much hassle in moulding apart from the possible sink marks on the seat surface...but you are putting a non slip texture on the seat anyway right? So it shouldn't really show up.

Design wise the whole thing was put together by nabbing fire extinguishers from the GrabCAD community and placing them into the existing assembly to figure out how best to strap them in a place where a person could relatively easily reach them and not hinder the driving experience too much.

The best thing I have found about using Solid Edge is the assembly features, they make everything a breeze to put together and the synchronous technology side of it is unreal. It looks like an amazingly powerful post design tool that I am determined to teach myself before this trial runs out.

I did manage to get my first animation off and I think it came out OK, I did try one with a smoke trail but it looked really awful, might have looked better with motion blur in Keyshot but I will never know!

As it stands I am happy with how this project turned out and the keyshot graphics system in general made a big difference, the materials make colouring the project very easy and the camera controls make it easy to set up a decent shot. I look forward to making more use of it in the future!

Thank you for hosting the challenge and the free trial of SolidEdge + Keyshot I have been waiting to learn it for a while now and appreciate the chance you have given me. It has really been entertaining!
Look out for my other ideas on the way!
